Product introduction

The Bolted Type Dead End Tension Clamp is a key component in single tension hardware fittings, primarily utilized in overhead transmission and distribution lines. Known as dead end strain clamps or quadrant strain clamps, these transmission line clamps are designed to secure conductors effectively during mechanical stress.

With a focus on providing a strong, stable grip without risking damage to conductors, the Tension Clamps offered by FERR are available in both bolted and compression types, catering to ACSR, AAC, and AAAC conductor applications.

Due to its resemblance to a guy structure, some customers refer to the tension clamp as the guy type or bolt type clamp. These clamps come in various series based on the conductor diameter, including models like NLL-1, NLL-2, NLL-3, and NLL-4.

The NLL series of bolt-type dead end clamps feature a main body crafted from high-strength aluminum alloy, adhering to the specifications outlined in the latest BS standards.

Designed for aerial lines up to 35kV, FERR’s bolted-type tension clamps are optimized for use with ACSR and all-aluminum conductors, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding environments.

I was most afraid of the drawings sent over to the docking is not clear, the results of FERR engineers directly with me to dock the technical details, and even the bolt hole spacing are confirmed to be very fine. Proofing out once through, no rework, too much trouble.

Our customers are very picky, especially about the thickness and appearance of the hot-dip galvanized layer, and the goods sent by FERR not only meet the standard, but also the key is that each batch is very stable, and we have never had any problems with the secondary inspection.

We started out with just a couple samples to try, and they turned out to be so much better than what we were using before. The dimensional accuracy, surface finish are all spot on and the delivery was fast. Now every time I have a project I go to FERR first, with confidence.

I've used quite a few suppliers, some quotes are cheap but with lots of problems.FERR is not the cheapest but they are really the most hassle free. Design coordination, delivery time, packaging details can think ahead of me, I save a lot of energy.
