Product introduction

FERR’s Round Shaft Helical Anchor offer significant lateral resistance and are ideal for both tensile and compressive loads. Designed for installation by torque, they are used in a wide range of foundation environments, from soft to moderately hard soils.

Adding this round shaft type of anchoring solution to a foundation provides cost-effective support for sites affected by harsh soil conditions. The anchors are able to spread compressive forces deeper into the ground, reducing soil movement, which in turn increases the bearing capacity of the foundation.

Circular Shaft Helical Anchors are structurally designed to resemble a corkscrew, with a helical blade fitted to the shaft. These spiral blades not only allow the anchor to be easily screwed into the ground, but also effectively provide additional support. Once in place, the anchor bolts significantly increase their resistance to soil movement, thus improving the load-bearing capacity of the foundation.

Round shaft helical anchors are an easy-to-install, cost-effective, efficient and reliable solution for buildings with poor foundations. They are an important tool for structural stability, as they cause less soil disturbance and are suitable for repairing old foundations that are showing signs of damage.
