FERR Hex Bolts and Nuts are integral components in utility hardware assemblies. Manufactured in-house with stringent traceability and quality control measures, they come in a variety of sizes and protective coatings to meet diverse needs.
The production process involves hot forging, where steel rods are first heated to red-hot temperatures using an electric furnace. These heated rods are then shaped into hexagonal heads through punching, while the screw threads are formed using a rolling machine.
The primary material used for FERR thread of botls and nuts is steel rod, excluding stainless steel options. Common diameters include 1/2″, 5/8″, and 3/4″, with thread lengths ranging from 100 mm to 400 mm.
To ensure durability, the surface of the hex bolts and nuts undergoes a hot-dip galvanization process. This treatment achieves a coating thickness of 43 microns, in compliance with ISO 1461 standards.
For packaging, the finished products are securely packed in cartons or woven bags, which are then placed on wooden pallets for safe transportation and storage.
